Freckles Polish Swatches and Review (plus my very own collaboration polish!)

Provided for review*

Hello everyone! Long time no see! I must apologise for being such a terrible blogger, life has completely got on top of me and I have barely had the time or energy to even do my nails recently.

However I did receive four lovely polishes for review from Freckles Polish, including my very own collaboration polish which I am very excited about - so I just had to blog about them. I have two polishes from The Collaboration Collection (including my own) and two polishes from The Birthday Party Collection to show you, which are celebrating one wonderful year of Freckles Polish!

First up we have my collaboration polish named Spearmint, which is a white crelly base filled with turquoise and gold glitters. I was so excited when I was asked to create a polish to celebrate Freckles Polish turning one - it really is an honour. I didn't have any particular inspiration behind this polish, I just liked the combination of the colours together. My swatch shows three coats with topcoat, but with careful application you could probably get away with two. Obviously I am completely biased when it comes to this polish, but I love it and it's exactly how I imagined it in my head.

The second collaboration polish I have to show you is Cinderhellie Wishes, which was designed by Helen who was one of three winners of a competition to come up with a polish for this collection. This is a light blue holographic base with purple blue and silver glitters. This swatch shows three easy coats with topcoat. I quite like how the glitters in this polish are fairly sparse, I think it gives it a softer feel than if it was jam packed full of glitter. This one has a really girly, spring like feel to it which is perfect for the current season.

The next two polishes are from The Birthday Party collection which consists of soft spring themed holographic shades.

First is Pass the Parcel which is a light purple holographic polish. This is a really beautiful and delicate colour, and the holo is quite subtle too which I think matches it well. A really strong holographic effect probably would have overwhelmed this gorgeous colour. It was a little on the sheer side but built up well - my swatches show three coats with topcoat.

Finally we have Dancing Queen which is a really cute spring green holo. This one has a slightly stronger holo effect than Pass the Parcel, but it is still fairly subtle. The formula was similar on this one too - a little on the sheer side but built up nicely by the third coat. This one is another gorgeous colour for spring.

So this is another consistently brilliant set of polishes from Freckles Polish, I seriously haven't tried a polish from this brand that I don't love! There are some serious beauties in both of these collections (don't forget to check out the rest of these collections).

These polishes are available here from the Freckles Polish Etsy store. You can also follow Freckles Polish on FacebookTwitter and Instagram to keep up to date with all their latest news.
